DR. MICHAEL COHEN
MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF BELCARA HEALTH
Q: What is the right age for Breast Augmentation?
A: Breast augmentation is appropriate for women of all ages. There are many personal reasons women choose breast augmentation – and some are generational, such as:

Women in their 20s are more focused on breast size and often choose breast surgery to achieve better overall body proportion.
Mothers, generally in their 30s and early 40s, are concerned about the effects pregnancy and breastfeeding have had on their bodies. These women are more likely to “want their old body back”. Restoring shape and volume to their breasts is particularly important to them.
Women in their late 40s, 50s, and 60s often seek breast enhancement to compensate for the effects of aging and gravity.
The female breast is one of the defining characteristics of beauty, femininity, and sexuality of the human figure; women of all ages seek breast enhancement to create a larger, fuller and shapelier bust line. I am proud to have helped thousands of happy patients feel good about themselves and the way they look.
